Rarely am I so quickly enamored by a book as I was within the first few pages of Fascinate. Good gravy this is pure gold. As a "one-man-show business owner, I am devouring this book like an anteater in the Derek Zoolander library.I'm already implementing what I've learned and I'm only a third of the way through.Perhaps most telling is that every time I unearth a gem on a page I think of a few friends I want to share it with...because I know how much it will help them.
I just made it to Part II and I am completely hooked! I was trying to make a major decision on what to put on a banner for a trade show and after reading Part I I know just what to do. BE DIFFERENT! Now I have no fear of going to the unknown with an edgy promotion. I took the Brand Fascination test and it changed everything for me. I had been going in the right direction but now I have the works! That profile is printed out and now in my note book to keep with me so I can read it and use it. Highly recommend but I could be biased because I have read all of her books! But...this one is the BEST! Big fan of Sally!
This book is a fascinating read of Sally Hogshead's amazing experiences that have shaped the information and research within it. It is a well-written and thought out story as well as an impactful reference book that is a fun read and is easy apply to any situation. I have learned how to determine what my brand should be for my business clients and market (Trust), using the easy mix-and-match Brand Fascination System she has researched and developed. There are different languages and advantages I can select to help further differentiate my personal and business brands. The book also provides numerous tactics and ideas to help innovate and reposition a brand. I am at the beginning stages of revamping and revising my personal and small business brand. After reading this, I now have hundreds of ideas at my fingertips now, just waiting to be implemented! It is a great reference book that I will use again and again. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is at any stage of branding, rebranding or revamping their brand. Great work, Sally!!
I got this book along with the audiobook because that's my preferred method to read these days. I focus more with all the information buzzing out there. The book is great for personal brands just getting involved with their business and marketing projects. You need to focus on what comes naturally for your company and your vision. Sally demonstrates her experience in such a fun way! I love the sidebars and footnotes threaded throughout the book. It makes the experience interactive and light. Anything but boring. I believe the people that are resistant to this material are deeply resentful and jealous of marketing witchcraft.
I’m a solo entrepreneur working with a part time virtual team, so my purpose in buying the book was to get stronger in branding with a limited budget. This book takes you through some advertising history and a bit of Sally’s, to help you understand the value of her system. Although I found some of that something to plow through, it’s due to my ‘innovation’ impatience! The book, after that, becomes a practical workbook to find the right words and descriptors for your brand, and specific tactics to use in marketing. You will also want to invest in your individual Brand Fascination report. It’s easy to implement these ideas, give yourself focus and insight. I’m excited to say it’s really helping me, and my brand is stronger.

Now, after reading the book, my business is being rebranded as a private, yet buzzing shamanic healing and native bee sanctuary that we've been sharing with our growing Instagram audience @zumbidovida. My website needed a clearer message and more fascination, and after understanding my brand advantage more, I can now clarify that message in language that will speak to my brand more consistently.
Sick book. Read the first version, then got this one. You will get more out of this version and it's clearer when describing a thought than the first. It's the same knowledge just clearer and more imagery.
